Prof. Dr. Maurício Scopel Hoffmann

Position: Professor (tenure) & Lab Head

Dr. Hoffmann is an Adjunct Professor of psychiatry at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) and the Graduation Program in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (PPGPsiq) at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Dr. Hoffmann uses psychometric and structural equation modeling techniques as an approach to his research questions around psychiatric nosology and epidemiology.

Prof. MSc. João Pedro Gonçalves Pacheco

Position: Assistant Professor

Dr. Pacheco is an assistant professor (tenure track) of psychiatry at UFSM and PhD student at the PPGPsiq at UFRGS in psychiatric epidemiology.

MD. João Villanova do Amaral

Position: Research Associate

Mr. do Amaral holds an MD degree (UFSM) and is currently a Master’s candidate at the PPGPsiq UFRGS.

Mr. Ighor Porto

Position: Research Assistant

Mr. Porto is a dedicated medical student with a passion for mental health epidemiology.

Ms. Gabriele is a medical student with a background in web-development and interested in pyschometrics.
